We usually say that one injection of this acid will last for around 9 -12 months – more may be needed after this period. The different types of hyaluronic acid fillers used include Juvederm and Restylane.

What Are The Side Effects Involved?

When it comes to lip augmentation, we say what we say about any type of cosmetic procedures, which is that there is always the possibility of side effects. However, the risk of this happening is relatively low – it all depends on how your individual body reacts to the treatments. Possible side effects include:

• Redness
• Tender lips/Swelling of the lips
